The Yunus Emre Institute in Washington, D.C. participated in the Catholic University’s 2018 Global Festival. The institute’s employees handed out lokum to the students while they informed them about the institute’s mission and its programs. The free Turkish language courses the institute offers was met with much interest. The students were also very interested in the Yunus Emre Institute’s 2018 Summer School program. Our upcoming Gala, where we will be showing “Ayla: The Daughter of War,” on March 30th, also garnered much attention from students, faculty, and those officials representing other countries at the festival.

The Yunus Emre Institute was honored to be included in the 2018 Global Festival at Catholic University. It was a pleasure to be able to connect with students at the Catholic University and the other professionals who attended the festival.
